Vocal Music Concert<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(To the 150th anniversary of Sergei Rachmaninoff\u00a0and\u00a0the 85th anniversary of\u00a0Yevgeny Nesterenko)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening of vocal music \u201cA Date with a Romance\u201d<\/strong> dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Great Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff and the 85th anniversary of the People\u2019s Artist of the USSR Yevgeny Nesterenko will be presented by the opera soloist \u2013 the Astana Opera Opera Company Director, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Azamat Zheltyrguzov<\/strong> (baritone). Dolores Umbetali<\/strong>y<\/strong>eva<\/strong>, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan, will perform the piano part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concert\u2019s guest of honour is the People\u2019s Artist of Armenia Barseg Tumanyan <\/strong>(bass).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Composer, pianist and conductor Sergei Rachmaninoff synthesised the principles of the St Petersburg and Moscow schools of composition and blended the traditions of Western European and Middle Eastern music to create his own original style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme of the concert features well-known Rachmaninoff romances: Melody<\/em>, Fragment from ‘de Musset’<\/em>, A Dream<\/em>, Spring Torrents<\/em>, My Child, Your Beauty is That of a Flower<\/em>, I Fell in Love, To My Sorrow<\/em>, April<\/em>, I was with Her<\/em>, I Await You<\/em>, Lilacs<\/em> and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The audience is in for an enjoyable evening, the atmosphere of which will be created by the masterpieces of vocal lyricism and the charm of the performers\u2019 talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
