Preparing for the school year is a difficult and costly event. Astana Opera with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan helped the capital\u2019s low-income and large families in this difficult task as part of a charity event dedicated to September 1. The opera house\u2019s volunteers delivered the gifts personally to the happy schoolchildren.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the Year of Children, we pay special attention to the younger generation. Preparing a child for school is an important event for any family. Unfortunately, for families with many children and low-income families, this is very costly. Recognizing this fact, Astana Opera\u2019s volunteers could not stand aside, putting together special boxes with stationery and other school supplies, as well as food packages for those in need,\u201d Aizhan Kurmangaliyeva, Astana Opera\u2019s deputy director, says. \u201cWe understand the importance of such support, we sincerely empathize with people experiencing life\u2019s difficulties, and we strive to facilitate the preparation for the new school year, and we also call on everyone to help low-income families, because it remains relevant at all times.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gift sets from Astana Opera include the most necessary school supplies: backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, rulers, pencil cases, paints, plasticine and much more, which no child can do without.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very inspired by charity, because we sincerely rejoice at the opportunity to help people. We see their emotions and it is especially gratifying to see children smiling and looking at their gifts with interest,\u201d the volunteers emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth emphasizing that charity work has become an integral part of life at the opera house and is organized on an ongoing basis. It is not limited to one area of focus or configuration. The attention of Astana Opera\u2019s staff covers different segments of the population: low-income and large families, single mothers, disabled people, as well as children left without parental care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, in anticipation of the Victory Day, volunteers visited the capital\u2019s veterans, and on the World Autism Awareness Day, Astana Opera hosted a charity concert, in which children with autism spectrum disorder have taken part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to organizing philanthropic performances and acts of charity, Astana Opera provides financial assistance to specific people in need by delivering food, medical supplies or essential goods to their homes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
