On September 1, the Astana Opera team carefully studied the State of the Nation Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan “Just State. United Nation. Prosperous Society”, which was announced at a joint meeting of both houses of parliament. The Head of State outlined important solutions on the way to the implementation of fundamental socio-economic and political tasks.
“The development of the country begins with the socio-economic stability of each Kazakhstani family. It is gratifying that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, along with global issues of the international level, pays great attention to the urgent needs of the citizens of our country. The President spoke on many problematic situations, we see the immediate response of the state and the proposal of ways to solve these complex issues,” Galym Akhmedyarov, the Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan, Astana Opera’s general director, said.
Discussing the State of the Nation Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana Opera’s artists noted that we are all witnesses and participants in the fact that fateful decisions are being made in the country, which, one way or another, affect the lives of all Kazakhstanis. This also applies to the simplification of the tax regime, the development of medicine and telemedicine in the rural areas, the construction of schools with money returned from corrupt officials, the development of light industry, as well as the pension system and the deduction of 50% of the annual investment income of the National Fund to special accounts for children until they reach 18 years of age.
An important aspect of the State of the Nation Address to the People of the Republic of Kazakhstan was the statement of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on building a fair Kazakhstan, in which it is necessary to carry out educational, medical, agricultural, judicial, political and other reforms that correspond to new realities and social development. The main and most discussed part of the State of the Nation Address touched upon the announcement of early presidential elections in Kazakhstan in autumn 2022.
“Now, in an unstable geopolitical time all over the world, it is important that solidarity, unity and prosperity be maintained within our state. Certainly, all of us associate stability and harmony with the President. In the current conditions, holding elections is a completely natural motion, which, no doubt, will be supported by the citizens of our country,” Galym Akhmedyarov concluded.
