An Evening of French Music

Piano duo Gulzhan Uzenbayeva – Dana Zhubanova-Ali

The creative duet of famous pianists – Gulzhan Uzenbayeva and Dana Zhubanova-Ali will present a varied programme featuring French music ranging from Baroque composer Jean-Philippe Rameau to 20th century composer Darius Milhaud.

Gulzhan Uzenbayeva – Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, soloist of the Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic, professor of the piano department at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

Dana Zhubanova-Ali, being an associate professor of the piano department at the Kazakh National University of Arts, has trained more than 70 winners of republican and international competitions. She actively promotes Kazakhstani piano and chamber music in the country and abroad.
